Inside our attic space we have 8 inches of spray foam insulation that is extremely fire resistant a lighter held to an edge of the foam did not catch flame.
Fire protection vents and filters prevent fire embers wind driven rain dust debris and nesting animals and rodents from entering your home through the attic vent. Soffit vents are available for stucco wood construction foam stucco or retro fit applications. These vents typically use a combination of screening and other design features to resist intrusion of embers and flames. Retro fit kits upgrade existing vents to be fire and ember safe.
Installation is a snap. Four vents have recently been accepted for use by the office of the state fire marshal these vents can be used in applications where ember and flame intrusion resistance is required.
