Fibreglass Silicon Sheet

Silicone rubber sheets and strips one layer of fiberglass cloth is inserted between two layers of silicone rubber to give these sheets and strips the strength to stand up to high stress and flex.

Fiberglass reinforced solid silicone sheet fiberglass reinforced solid silicone sheeting was developed where added tensile and tear strength are required for demanding applications such as aerospace automotive and general industrial seals and gaskets. Use them as flange gaskets and anywhere heavy compression would squeeze nonreinforced silicone rubber out of place. The fiberglass provides dimensional stability and support to the sheet.

Commercial grade silicone rubber sheet is adaptable to most industrial and institutional applications. Infinisil fiberglass inserted silicone is preferred where dimensional stability from mechanically reinforced silicone sheet rubber is required. The sheet is fabricated from a single ply of fiberglass and is balance coated with an equal amount of silicone on both sides of the fiberglass. It is resistant to extreme high and low temperature ranges and is proven to be an excellent gasketing material.
